Who is hiding behind this sunglasses/cap combo ?

I worked for many years as a fashion stylist for music videos, photo editorials, and TV commercials. At the same time, I taught at the best Fashion Academies. Then, I’m working as a fashion consultant and buyer for emerging designers.

You post several times a day your outfits but also these that inspire you, tell us about style in general, how would you define it ? What is your own style ?

Briefly, I define style as a personal way of representing one’s identity. Sure, it’s just clothes, but clothes can say a lot about who you are and what you portray about yourself to others. Style is also the ability to choose in a targeted way among many things. Personally, I have a set of “uniforms” made from the basics but it’s always a matter of details because even the smallest detail talks about us.

What do you like people to notice first about you ?

The hardest thing is probably to be considered as “cool”. As Diana Vreeland said : “It’s not about the dress you wear, it’s about the life you lead wearing the dress.” So, I prefer that people perceive my personality and not my dress !

What are your favorite brands ?

This is a difficult question… I like The Row, Old Celine – Phoebe Philo, Dries Van Noten, Prada, Miu Miu, Sofie D’Hoore, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons, Ann Demeulemeester, e molti altri !

Which Greek designers do you particularly like ?

La Vaca Loca (less is more), Mary Katrantzou (more is more), and my dear amazing friend Flora Sardalos (pictures above).

What is your ideal wardrobe for this summer 2023 ? 

When I go to the beach, the secret is to learn to change always wearing the same clothes. I wear a lot of white, blue and neutral colors so I can do many outfits. I can’t give up jeans, striped shirts, linen, trousers and oversized shirts and blazers, maxi dresses hats and XL straw bags.

Let’s talk about Greece now. What feelings does our country arouse in you ?

Beauty, freedom and happiness !

What word comes to mind first when you think of Greece ?

Happiness ! When I asked myself where I was the happiest, the answer was Greece. I have been there three times, twice for 6 whole months. I actually lived like a local and not like a tourist.

A particular memory ?

So many memorable moments but one in particular, quite unusual. That first engagement ring was from a very nice boy, a Dj from Thessaloniki, but I was only 18 years old… so I came back there to return the ring.

Do you know Athens ?

Unfortunately, I don’t know Athens very well and the memories I have are from many years ago, but maybe I’m going there soon because a friend of mine, from Milan, has moved to live in Athens !

What are your favorite islands ?

Koufonissia, Folegandros, Milos, Serifos, Zante, Santorini. But I would like to see them all ! I love Greece.
