Faos has captured the essence of Greece in a pair of sunglasses, so you always have a ray of sunshine with you, wherever you are.
Excellence, quintessence, multiplicity, quality… it’s difficult to find the right word to accurately describe the different variations of sunglasses imagined and created by the Greek brand Faos. It is equally difficult to resist collecting them, as the plethora of choices perfectly matches the many moods and even personalities of each and every one of us, whether we are sometimes seductive, sometimes androgynous, sometimes extroverted, exuberant, or sometimes calm…
Authentic, ethical, aesthetic…
When we received the Faos sunglasses at the editorial office, we were immediately captivated by their design, high quality, and the spirit of the brand, as well as its eco-friendly commitment—two qualities dear to Paris/Athènes Magazine.

Founded in 2022 by a team with over 30 years of experience in the industry, Faos products, designed and handmade in Greece, were created to bring the light of the Greek sun to the world.
The brand, whose name means “daylight,” draws inspiration for its creations from the philosophy, lifestyle, architecture, and colors of the famous and iconic Greek islands. Take, for example, the “Mykonos” model, unisex sunglasses with lightly tinted lenses that perfectly suit the island lifestyle and its celebrations, from sunset to sunrise.
The Mykonos model comes with lenses available in various tints to choose from. The high-protection lenses are made by Carl Zeiss Vision, and the production is carried out by skilled artisans in Greece.

As for the packaging, every detail has been thoughtfully considered without any excess. High-quality FSC-certified paper has been used, and the cleaning cloths are made from recycled ocean plastic bottles.
On the left, the Icaria model recalls the mythology of Icarus, whose wax wings melted as he sought to get closer to the sun
On the right, the Corfu model

In parallel, to meet various eco-friendly standards, the brand ensures that its suppliers follow similar practices and hold the relevant certifications. Additionally, Faos’s production chain takes necessary steps to minimize the environmental footprint of the manufacturing process and uses renewable energy sources as much as possible.
