Midnight Testament: a voice between Paris and Athens

Some voices don’t just sing — they invoke. They whisper at the threshold of the visible. Eleni is one of them. Her debut EP, Midnight Testament, is a nocturnal journey through the depths of human emotion.
Born in Greece, shaped by the streets of Paris, and now based in the United States, Eleni is a multidisciplinary artist. Though she studied political science in Athens and cultural history and film anthropology at La Sorbonne in Paris, music has never ceased to inhabit her. With Midnight Testament, she gives voice to that inner journey.

Composed of four tracks, Eleni explores the blurred terrain between solitude and desire, love and loss, the physical and the mystical. The sonic universe blends the roots of jazz and blues with a spiritual dimension: saxophones and trumpets intertwine with the harmonies of a jazz trio (piano, double bass, drums) and gospel choirs. With Midnight Testament, she pays homage to African-American musical traditions while inscribing her voice in a deeply personal quest.

Listen to the EP on all platforms — four tracks to cradle your summer nights — including Bitter Sun, already available.
