Upon returning from the tavern Thomas 1971 and crossing Koukaki and Plaka, we stumbled upon this shop. And because the name caught our attention, we felt compelled to go in, in "tourist" mode. This concept store is everything we love, a showcase of Greek artists, this new generation expressing themselves through objects. Let's take a tour...
Located at 2 Thespidos & Tripondon Street, in the neighborhood of Plaka, the most touristy spot in Athens, this small boutique with a French name caught our attention. As soon as we walked in, the welcome was so warm that we immediately wanted to know the story behind this place. Although the Greek interpretation is far from the French definition of the term “Pot Pourri”, translated as “A cozy place where it’s nice to chill,” they are not so far from the truth after all.
This boutique is a collection of Greek artists where we can find everything we love. From talismanic jewelry to sunglasses, trinkets to typical bags, in short, all the little souvenirs that we want to bring back with us and that will remind us of the country.
Here are a few must-mention brands highlighted by Stavrina: Stathis Alexopoulos, Antonis Kastrinakis, OMMA luxury brand, Kooreloo, Amphora Collection, Love for waves, Ileana Makri (which we love!), Moutsatsos, Verita True Luxury, CM Makris/Jewelry Design Athens…
In short, take the time to chat with Stavrina and indulge yourself ! This place is one of our true favorites.
