As the summer gently comes to an end, the late season is the perfect time to discover the island in a different way, and we choose to do it on horseback. Greg's Spetses Horses is a sublime place, run by a Greek-British family, as caring as they are generous.
While the stud farm has been opened for several years, it was only this summer that we had the curiosity to get acquainted with this place, just a few kilometers from Dapia, on the Kouzounos side. Our visit immediately turned into weekly appointments as we were charmed by the hospitality, the setting, and the activities offered.
Founded in 2016, Greg’s Spetses Horses is a unique place in an equally unique setting. The learning sessions for children and adults are incredible moments filled with sharing. Horseback rides at sunrise are exceptional, and the trails are breathtakingly beautiful.
The stud farm itself is a unique place where about a dozen horses share their space with several other animals who have spontaneously made this address their main residence.
While in the summer, the stud farm opens its doors during the hours when the heat is bearable for both the animals and the riders, the place remains open all year round.
A must-visit destination for those seeking moments of serenity, reflection, and harmony in the midst of nature. Greg’s Spetses Horses is a true gem. An unparalleled experience that we are delighted to share with you.
